The founders and owners of Interval Recordings, Yair Etziony and Ido Govrin specialize in micro-music and electro-acoustic composition. These two live sets combine to form the more beat heavy side of Interval. Yair Etziony, one half of the Neo Ouija group Faction, mixes homemade micro house, dub and techno under the alias of Vermont for his detroit and cologne influenced live set. Ido Govrin, who has released music for Neo Ouija and Mille Platteux, produces a live mix of ambient swathes of warm sound and minimal beats. Its a warm, minimal affair, with both artists exploring the spaces between sounds as much as the sounds themselves. This back to back set is available freely as a dual chapter podcast on the iTunes Music Store or as a compressed pack of two MP3s. The podcast available on the iTunes Music Store exists as a single AAC file with selectable markers, links and artwork for the individual sets.
