Lackluster, a Percussion Lab favorite, has finally graced us with a lengthy, crunchy set of melodically minded electronics. With an extensive back catalog of releases on labels such as DeFocus, Merck, U-Cover and New Speak, Lackluster has always been skilled in drawing the listener in with emotive melodies and off-kilter beats. Be sure to not sleep on his earlier releases, such as the classic, "Wrapping." This set takes things down a slightly darker, more cut up route - possibly even more effective than Lackluster's more naive sounding earlier work.
