Christmas in July
Small_christmas_in_july

Event Description

Celebrate Christmas early with the 60 Hurtz crew as they host an evening at the legendary Don Hills Nightclub. Detroit super producer Kyle Hall will spread holiday cheer with an eclectic set of House, Techno, and Dubstep for his last American tour date for the summer.

Also visiting is Chicago native Great Weekend (aka Master Khan, The Twilight Tone). He will be dropping funky tracks from his sellout release “Its Now EP” out now on Wurst.

Plus Son of Sound (aka Henry Maldonado, House 2 House, Rhythm Section) of Play it Loud / Speak Recordings will also be dropping by to play a special set, to get people in the holiday spirit.

And no holiday celebration is complete without presents and stocking stuffers, as the crew will be giving away presents from the following sponsors:

Pioneer – HDJ-2000 headphones
Rockstar – Grand Theft Auto & Red Dead Redemption Games
Halcyon – Gift Cards
Wurst – Vinyl Releases
Nudie Jeans – Jeans
Café Bustelo – Coffee, Shirts and Gift Cards. Plus many more…

Cassette NYC
Small_cassette_nyc_

Event Description

June 26th, Percussion Lab & Cassette NYC team up to bring you Hyperdub's own dub police don LD alongside Planet Mu's FaltyDL, Dub War's Alex Incyde & the ever revolving resident Cassette tag team crew. This night, Lando kal & new Hotflush Recordings signing Sepalcure will be holding it down from 10 - 12:30 so get there early.

We're extremely excited to host LD, one of dubstep's most elusive yet influential bass technicians. LD's sound is his own. Drawing on his roots, you can hear the drum pan sounds of Jamaica resonating throughout, flashes of Soca drums, subtle tribal nuances, and the ghost of Jungle reverberating in the warm, pulsating sub bass.
