NOISE NoD is a week long meeting of artists focusing on sonic works and installations in the gallery and theater of NoD, and in collaboration with Bulva Fabula a concert night in the middle of the week at the ROXY club. These artist are mostly based in Berlin and Prag and are engaged in a type of continuing experiment by travelling and hosting travelling artists in their own city, to encourage the element of collaboration and exchange.
NOISE as a term is used here to describe a process of cleansing, a purging of our minds and artistic notions to create space enough for new thought and reflection, to leave a clear surface ready to be redefined. How this will be applied in NoD is open. The artists are not bound to their Tools (which is often the case in media art), but rather the Tool ensures the free conversion of their ideas.
