Atlanta's Billy Laing has been doing this thing for ten years or more. We crossed paths in the late '90's/early '00's in Georgia, where Billy collaborated on Grant/Clink Recordings' seminal ambient outfit, Lifeform Project. He's since come to dominate the Atlanta club scene, running the souhern version of the GOLDSWEAT parties , featuring the likes of L-Vis 1990, Jess Jubilee, and Manikan. In addition to helming GOLDSWEATATL he is currently holding down residencies at Atlanta's Royal (El Bar) and NOIR (Lava Lounge). This mix also features an original B. Laing production, the Axe VIP, alongside cuts by Jacques Greene, Mosca, Distal, and our own Machinedrum.
