This mix was put together for the most part with tunes I found digging through the archives of a now defunct radio\podcast called "Some Assembly Required" that was hosted by Jon Nelson.
On the air from 1999-2011 SAR showcased audio work by artists who appropriate sounds from the media environment, Some Assembly Required was heard on dozens of stations across the US and Canada, for over a decade.
All of the episodes, tracklistings, and artist interviews are available in the archives. I highly recommend taking a look.
There are lots of things that you won't hear anywhere else.
