Ezekiel Honig - Live from Mutek 2009
Small_praveen
A recording of Ezekiel Honig's set from Mutek 2009. Ezekiel Honig blends warm, dubby tumbles of slow, lofi ambient techno and crackly, found sound swathes of ambience featuring music off his latest album, "Surfaces of a Broken Marching Band" - Resident Advisor's favorite ambient record of 2008. Ezekiel also runs the much lauded label, Anticipate Recordings - home to Sawako, Morgan Packard, Klimek and Mark Templeton.

ezekiel's production has always been near and dear to me, so this was a really wonderful treat! love how he merges all the elements from his last album into a burbling stream of sound.

When I hear his music, I just feel like I'm in slow motion, tumbling over myself in zero gravity. Call me crazy.

I love the way you used the word 'tumbles', and yes, one of the highlights of MUTEK_10.

Definitely! Takes a little while to really get going, but once those rolling, slow techno beats are dropped its simply hypnotizing.
