This wintery ambient featured set comes from Anticipate Recordings artist Mark Templeton. Templeton creates gorgeous, drawn out pieces along the lines of his peers Tim Hecker, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma and Ben Frost. The sharp ends of digital production are smoothed and warm here with fuzzy found sounds and a constant crackling that makes us wish we had a nice fireplace going during these frigid NYC days.

Templeton's latest release on Anticipate Recordings, "Sea Point", released on the 19th of January, exhibits similar subtlety and fuzzy, crackly acoustic-based processes as his Inland album. The release contains three new songs and a few album picks, all on vinyl for the first time and with digital download redemption codes. Looking forward to what else Templeton has in store for us in 2011.
