Early on in January 2010, DJs Nickodemus & Quantic met at Sydney’s ‘Days Like This’ Festival, Australia & played records together, here is the recording.

I’m often asked to record my dj sets, but I’m never that organised. Fortunately, I did manage to record mine & Nicko’s set in Sydney this January. It was the later part of a sunny afternoon as I arrived on the site of ‘Days like This’. I located Nicko in the hospitality area eating complimentary sandwiches aside a bucket of iced beer. It seems we always have a knack of meeting in the most elaborate of places: New York one time, Mexico another… Colombia & this time Australia. The last time we had spun records together was in Miami, so I was looking forward to what new music Nicko had brought. At five we took to the stage and began our voyage into syncopated sound, playing music from the Caribbean, Baltic, Africa & new productions from NY, the UK & Colombia. It was a wonderful afternoon, good vibes all around & all with that unforgettably good Australian weather (though, Australian Rum is not recommended).
