Raz Mesinai, aka Badawi, is a fixture on the New York electronic music scene. He accidentally invented dubstep in the mid-90's, and then sort of waited for the rest of the world to catch up with him. Riding the line between dancefloor-appropriateness and total experimental headfuckery, he's a singular artist dedicated to a unique vision. A recent transplant to New York from Australia, DJ Dust got her start playing hip hop and drum'n'bass, opening for the likes of Marky, Marcus Intalex, Doc Scott, Calibre, Klute, Grooverider, Scuba, Hudson Mohawke, Joker, Skream, Benga and Headhunter.

In April last year DJ Dust moved to NYC, where she has been playing regular hip hop sets alongside the likes of J Period, Boogie Blind and Suga Ray as well as drum and bass and house sets, and secured a slot at the celebrated Sun and
Bass Music Festival in Sardinia.
